Modernization gets a big lift.

Customer: Interland Corporation, San Mateo

Service: Elevator Group Modernization

Challenge: Modernize the original group of elevators in a fully occupied Class A office building.  The project required early morning crane picks to lift the new machines and controls to the rooftop machine room.  The machine room was constructed of concrete, which presented an obstacle to bringing equipment into the room.  The original plan called for the building to open the concrete wall to accommodate the size of the machinery.  Star was able to break down the equipment and utilize the existing doorway, saving the customer time and money on the project.

The job had tight timelines, and  Star Elevator finished the project on time and on budget, minimizing the inconvenience to the tenants.

At Star Elevator, our goal is to provide exceptional work and excellent customer service. We’re an independent, locally owned business that’s been servicing and upgrading commercial elevators in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1982.
